My wonderful husband allowed me to be a stay-at-home-mom and to pursue a passion of mine, which is dressing dolls. We knew it wouldn't be an expensive hobby since I already had a sewing machine, plenty of clothes, needles, and thread. When I found Etsy, it turned into more than just a hobby, I'd never seen so much handmade talent on one website, so inspiring.
I had never been fully satisfied with any clothing or jewelry purchases I made, (which was probably why I made so many) I was always satisfied with the idea of what it could be. So I guess you could say that this is a way for me to express myself and also make years of pennies spent worth it. The style of my doll fashions is Urban/Street,ie fitted jeans, sexy tops, heels, designed handbags, and jewelry is a must. I love using raw or unfinished edges in which sometimes I use my signature hand or machine, raw edge stitch detailing in contrasting colors to give things a unique look. I never make the exact same item because I'm always inspired by something when I work. You may see a top or bottom cut from the same denim fabric , but something will always be different, thats what makes every piece special.
